Charleston Home has Leaky Garage

The side walk next to this garage on a home in Charleston actually tilts towards the garage.  So when it rains it  pours..... into the garage!  How did this happen you may ask?  Simple..... the builder wanted to save money.  If he had only made this garage one more block higher (8 inches) he could have properly graded his lot.  The water pouring towards the foundation is making this problem worse.  A lot of homes in Charleston are built on soft soil so proper lot drainage is essential.  Of course that view of the marsh is one of the things that makes Charleston such a wonderful place to live!  It pays to have a home inspection.....  to  schedule an inspection email me here or just call the number on the home page.
