Danger in Goose Creek home
The first thing I notice when I climbed into the attic while doing this Goose Creek home inspection is this improper connection. Somebody had spliced a cheap extension cord with wire nuts at the top of the stairway. How would you like to put your hand on those bare wires! This is a fairly dangerous situation. Fortunately only the neutral conductor was connected and the hot conductor had pulled loose. All splices should be in a box and an extension cord should never be used for permanent wiring.
