gutter needs cleaning

On this Charleston home I observed this debris filled vinyl gutter while doing an inspection.  Regular maintenance is a must for gutters because a dirty gutter will back up and cause water damage to the facial and soffit.  Vinyl gutters like this are prone to leaking at the joints which will promote decay of the facial. Seamless aluminum gutters are a better choice but a bit more expensive.
